My first favorite this semester was definitely smore. I really love how easy it is to use and add media. It’s also easy to make the flyers look great. I have used other websites similar to smore before like Glogster, but smore was by far much easier to use. In the future I could use this for classroom announcements, or even a weekly newsletter to send to parents.

My next favorite was Google Drive, but more specifically Google Forms. I think it’s great how you can create a poll or survey and then have a spreadsheet after to look at all the data. It’s just so easy and quick and then the data is already collected and organized for you. I would definitely use this to poll my class over their math background, their feelings about math, and there comfort level at the beginning of the year. I’m sure I could use this for a variety of things in my classroom in addition. I could even use it as a quick pop quiz as a check for understanding.

And last but not least, my last favorite was Meograph. I liked meograph because it was really easy to integrate a variety of media into one presentation. You could use youtube videos and even crop them to the desired length and record voice overs with ease. I think that this would be great in any classroom. It’s more entertaining than a powerpoint, and you could send it to students who missed class so that they could catch up on the information. You could also have students create their own as a project. I think that Meograph could also be a great addition to my future classroom!
